Update on refund

What a rollercoaster these past few days have been. First and foremost: We’re truly overwhelmed by the love and support we’ve received. Thank you to everyone who donated, sent us kind messages, came to help last Saturday, and to all the artists, crew members, suppliers and companies we work with who have stood by us during this incredibly difficult time.

We launched a GoFundMe to help cover the additional costs we’re facing now and in the future, and thanks to all of you, our initial fundraising goal was reached within just 24 hours. That’s something we never expected, and we’re deeply grateful.

We also want to be as transparent as possible about the current situation.

As a small independent organization, a significant part of the income from ticket sales had already been invested in producing the festival. This year’s festival was built entirely from the ground up, meaning many production costs had already been incurred and paid before the event.

Fortunately, we are insured. However, we first need to receive the insurance payout before we are able to process ticket-holders the refund. This counts for both for ‘Stager’ tickets-holders and ‘Resident Advisor’ tickets-holders. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding during this process. We know that waiting for a refund is difficult, especially in the current economic climate, but this is the only way we can ensure that every ticket-holder receives the full ticket amount back.

At this moment, we cannot say how long the insurance process will take. As soon as we have more information, we will update you through our channels. We promise to communicate as openly and honestly as we can in the days, weeks or months ahead.

We would love nothing more than to tell you if, when and where the next edition will take place. Unfortunately, because of the current uncertainty, we simply can’t make any announcements yet. As soon as we know more, you’ll be the first to hear.

Thank you again for your incredible support, we don’t take this for granted. We wouldn’t be able to get through this difficult period without you <3
