Born in France to English parents, Beatrice M. is a synthesis of two environments which is demonstrated by an apparent natural tendency to transcend borders. Bringing a fresh, boundary-pushing take on modern dubstep, Beatrice M. merges syncopated UK bass with trancy, technoid grooves.

Via their own music imprint Bait, they carved out a space for snare-heavy bass music, touching upon psychedelic techno. With releases on the legendary Tectonic recordings or the iconic NAFF sub-imprint Garmo (alongside Jan Loup) among others, Beatrice M. has been adding to the genre’s foundations with a broader palette of sounds.
